Greetings from my foster home. Another beautiful day here. Gracie, a resident vizsla, returned to San Jose with Nancy this morning so I have the top of the crates all to myself. Sometimes Phoenix joins me. We keep watch for the wandering duck from the neighbor's property above and sound the alarm when we see it.
I watched Robert work on the garden, changing irrigation lines and installing a new watering station. He also transplanted some lima beans and fertilized the corn. I can supervise him from the deck, so I do. I promised Nancy I'd keep an eye on him.
I am getting along with everyone and have settled into a very comfortable routine. I still get a little wiggy if Robert leaves but having the other dogs for company helps; and Robert always seems to return after a short while.
Still no prospective adoptive parents; that makes me kind of in purgatory, neither heaven or hell, but Robert and Nancy are great guardian angels (I myself am dognostic, believing in a greater canine power!).
