WOW! Here it is, an entire week since I was rescued and I have NO comments on my blog! WTF gives? Also, while we are on the subject, how is it that none of you have expressed an interest in me? I am just about the sweetest guy you will ever meet!
Today was pretty warm. We all went out with the horses early before the real heat set in. I got my first taste of watermelon today; very refreshing and yummy on a warm day like today. Most of the day I spent supervising Nancy's planting of asparagus, lima beans, squash and snap peas. Robert split some firewood and stacked it in one of the wood racks. With all the rain we have had everything is growing like mad and keeping the vegetation in check requires near constant attention. I like it when Robert pulls weeds in the backyard but I do not like the lawn tractor, so he usually mows the rear yard while I am crated for dinner. I like to go out and roll in the clippings when he is done, though.
After dinner I like to stay up late with Nancy while she watches TV or works on her computer. Then we all head off to bed and put another day behind us.
