Hello All-
Been a while! Bet you think I forgot about all of you; fat chance! I am still here, getting older everyday. I am still hanging in my Sebastopol foster home; waiting for the BIG day when I go to a forever home!
I am just as happy and energetic as ever. The tail never stops going and I have lots of other dogs to play with. I have a big crate to eat in and stay in if Robert needs to run an errand. I have an even a bigger crate to sleep in, which I do without any problems.
I still have yet to catch one of those pesky gophers, but it is not for lack of trying. The other day I spied a chicken (neighbor's) in the horse pasture area. Robert spoiled my fun by rescuing it before I could investigate (that's twice now, once with the duck and now the chicken!). I even stopped to point it!
Robert was gone for a while and I missed him; he is a good buddy, especially compared to his wife (oh, that ought to get him in the doghouse along with me! lol). I have not gone off wandering on my own ever since Madame X (Maddie) went to a new foster home. It just is not the same running off on your own....
I am really enjoying what it is to be loved! I never knew life could be so good. I am not chained up all day. I spend most of my time in the house. I come and go outside at will and am never really crated for more than an hour or two; and I always get cookies for being good. I watch TV on weekends with Nancy and she sits on the floor with me 'cuz I don't get on the couch or chairs.
I still don't let Robert do my nails but he can check my mouth, examine my body, clean my ears and treat any injuries I get; maybe in time! I love to lay on a cushion by his side when he works on the computer because he can lean over and rub my tummy, which I like a lot!
The weather has been really nice, cool and foggy in the morning and sunny and warm (not hot) in the afternoon. The evenings are cool and pleasant. I am so thankful to be out of that shelter in Fairfield. Now, if someone would just adopt me!
Thanks all for following my blog and looking out for me! Robert has been very busy with projects and school (advanced nuclear weapons technology for personal use).
I love all of you!
Send me a comment or two!
